The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Minna's absolutely gutted she can't run the marathon on Saturday, so we're sharing the distance across a slap-dash team of well meaning family and friends:

Ten of us are running 2.6 Miles each on the 26th of April to raise £260 for Surfer's Against Sewage. Your donations will help them weather the COVID-19 storm and bolster their efforts to offset the massive implications cancelling community events and beach cleans and delaying important policy changes will have on our marine environment.

Please give at least £2.60 to help us reach our target!

Save the UK's Charities

General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
