Glasgow Kiltwalk 2023 · 30 April 2023 ·

In 2023, SiMBA will receive requests for around 11,000 priceless Memory Boxes which will then be gifted to bereaved parents across the UK. We can only continue to fulfil these requests with your help. Please help keep SiMBA safe.

Story

Room 12 in the Princess Royal Maternity isn’t ever a room you want to find yourself in, a room where all your worst nightmares come true. But where there is darkness there is light, it is a room where angels are born in soft tranquil comfort of family rooms provided by SiMBA to make the most heartbreaking of times a little more gentle for those living that extraordinary pain.

You never know the power of the little things such as a memory box until it’s all you have including the only little teddy your baby has ever cuddled, SiMBA think of the things you don’t ever think you will need until you need them.

SiMBA responds to the needs of those affected by the loss of a baby. They help families create precious memories with their baby and offer beautiful ways to honour and remember them, now and always. SiMBA are are urgent need of financial assistance or they are at risk of closure. We cannot imagine how different things would have been without their help and don’t want any families ever to know that either.

A group of our family and friends will be walking the Kiltwalk Big Stroll which is 14.3 miles from Glasgow to Loch Lomond in loving memory of Remy Anton Dakhil on 30th April 2023.

Team: Gillian, Victoria, Lorraine, Rachel, Katie, Elaine, Dawn, Maxine, Nicole, Yvonne, Vicki and Claire
