Our parish church of St Michael's in East Ham was severely damaged by fire recently, and now on top of the extensive repairs, the electrics for the whole church needs to be rewired.  In total this will cost in excess of £100,000.  While we are hoping the insurance will cover the majority of the cost of repairs for the fire damage, they will not cover the cost for rewiring the electrics.

This means that, if all goes well, we would need to find almost £40,000 to complete the repairs to our church, and make it safe for us to use again.  By taking part in both the Great Newham 10km Run and the UFD Half Marathon, and asking for your sponsorship, I am able to do what I can to raise funds and help us to meet our goal.
