Countries like Bangladesh sometimes become overshadowed by more well known causes but that doesn’t make Bangladesh any less significant.  These children are the most vulnerable and have no one to look after them. Kids as young as 8 are having to step up as parental figures for younger siblings. Can you imagine that? We take our basic necessities for granted so we should use our advantage to help those disadvantaged.  Making a difference to even one child’s life can be your ticket to paradise. In Bangladesh, millions of lives hang in the balance. In the city of Dhaka, an estimated 350,000 vulnerable children (mostly orphans) live and work on the streets every day.  Exposed to horrendous and horrific manners of abuse, exploitation, neglect and trafficking.  Sadly this includes drugs, sex trafficking, slavery, child labour and more.

I am supporting Human Appeal to combat the vulnerable situation of these children who will be provided direct services through an outreach programme. This includes health care, counselling support to street and working children to address their immediate safety; education, life skills and vocational training to enable and empower the children to live fulfilled and productive lives.
