Help us strengthen the UK's response to HIV!

Story

On the 30th November, we will be running alongside many others at the 2019 RED RUN! The RED RUN is a charity run which not only raises funds to strengthen the UK's response to HIV but also raises awareness of HIV within the community.

The RED RUN has raised over £300,000 since 2008 to help strengthen and support vital HIV services in the UK. We have come a long way since then, but there are still many challenges to be faced. There are 103,000 people currently living with HIV in the UK (50,000 in London) and budget cuts to the HIV sector are still all too common and continue putting essential HIV services at risk. Globally, there are 37.9 million people living with HIV, many without access to treatment and support. HIV stigma is still a reality and there are still too many people undiagnosed and diagnosed late. Now is most certainly not the time for us to stand down!

We're supporting STOPAIDS to help fund their vital campaigns which are working to build a better future of millions of people affected by HIV and AIDS worldwide. STOPAIDS also supports Youth Stop AIDS, a network of young campaigners speaking out, taking creative action and holding their governments to account on the global HIV response, which Harriet coordinates in her role at Restless Development.

Anything you can donate will help massively!

Thank you!!
