Jeremy Harris is supporting Restoring Health Ltd to realise a dream in making a significant difference to individuals and their families who are facing the challenges brought on by living with a spectrum of disorders related to brain development.

He will be doing a WingWalk on 17 September 2022 to raise funds for the (FASD) Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Awareness Charity because he is the only one on our Team crazy enough to do this, and  is inspired by Restoring Health's passion to affect change.

The Finances raised will go towards a collaborative research project to determine the effectiveness of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) Treatment for people with FASD.

The Founder and Owner of Restoring Health Ltd, Deborah Mc Nair, has worked with people with Learning Challenges and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) since her time at Stellenbosch University (South Africa)  in the 1990’s.

This career path has seen her pioneer a specialised Biokinetics Centre at a school for children with special needs in rural Zuluand called Thuthukani. This lead to another pioneering venture offering Applied Behaviour Analysis via Stimulation Centre for children with profound ASD called Pathways. After moving to the UK in 2001 this work continued as a Care Manager Assistant in London, followed by being a Homes Manager at 3 Care Homes in Maidstone.

This involvement has been facilitated by a passion and unique understanding of the abilities, challenges and joys associated with various brain disorders.

The inception of Restoring Health Ltd was as a 51% company, where 51% of the gross income was originally gifted to charities doing incredible work within the local community. Deborah again has it on her heart to look outwards and take people that want to jump on board on an exciting journey that will hopefully make a contribution towards changing lives and offering hope.

FASD has ASD & ADHD as some of the possible symptoms leading to a diagnosis. Restoring Health are also trusting to, in some way, be involved with research to determine the effect of Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field Therapy may have on people with FASD.

The message that FASD Awareness is bringing to the UK is a critical one and we feel incredibly privileged to be supporting their amazing work.
