This autumn we are excited to bring to you Hagar UK's first RISE FOR FREEDOM. Supporters will choose their own challenge to complete locally, to raise funds for survivors of slavery, human trafficking, and abuse globally.

Story

This Autumn I am RISING FOR FREEDOM and running 10k for the work of Hagar as they seek communities free and healed from the trauma of slavery, trafficking, and abuse.

The problem of human trafficking and modern slavery is huge. More than 40 million people worldwide are estimated to be victims of modern slavery. Three quarters of those are women and girls.You can find out all about the work of Hagar at www.hagaruk.org

All my previous attempts to commit to a running plan and race have failed, so I am determined the 10k on 10 December that I have signed up for will be the one!
