Last year we helped over 3000 people and I raised over £1000, this year if we get to £1000 again, i'll cut my hair off, and anyone who knows me will know just how precious my hair is to me.

I'll be travelling to Bangladesh to help setup health camps for the poorest people in the country, over 60% of the population have no access to healthcare. I'll be accompanied by other medical and dental students from the UK along with qualified doctors to deliver primarily family healthcare. I will be visiting families to discuss with them the current healthcare system and the kinds of resources they have available in terms of family planning.

Only £150 goes towards flights which cost around £850, so more of your donation makes its way to the people who need it most. I will be paying for the majority of my flight and remember any work we complete whilst there you can take some of the ownership for.

I personally know people in my own family from Bangladesh that have suffered from not having access to sufficient medical care or being diagnosed with serious diseases early on enough, hopefully with our input we can help as many people as we can that would not normally be able to get the things we take for granted
