At only 8 months old little Amber was diagnosed with a brain tumour, sitting deep inside her head. It was unremovable and had taken her sight in her left eye. She underwent a 9 hour operation and has since recieved 20 months of gruelling chemotherapy. She finished her treatment in April and is load, bright and funny just like any other toddler. The future is uncertain for Amber as although it is a benign tumour they have a bad habit of reoccouring. Far too many children have been lost during Amber's treatment. More research must be done to stop this heartache.
