I'm sorry to thrust this at you when we're all broke, but if you do have any spare cash and fancy sponsoring me a few quid for Cancer Research UK, I would really appreciate it.

I'm running in memory of my gran, Ivy Flowers, who died of throat cancer when I was a teenager. I have been meaning to do something like this for her for a long time, and it would be great to be able to raise as much as possible to help other people who are in the same situation.

All the money you give will go towards life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
