My personal reasons for wanting to do the race for life (in addition to helping anyone affected by cancer) is my mum and my husband. Both have had cancer, both have been so strong and brave, and both have come through with all clear. Mum is about to have her second 6month check after having the all clear, and my husband has now been clear for around 7 years. He still suffers side effects from Chemotherapy, so here's to making a difference!!!
