Cancer, we're coming to get you!

As most of you know back in September 2012 my husband was diagnosed with secondary advanced cancer. I will never forget that day for as long as I live and coming to terms with the fact that my best friend wont be cured of this terrible disease has been one of the hardest things to do. 

Following our wedding in October 2012, Chris was diagnosed with stomach cancer that had spread to the liver. He went on to have 7 courses of EOX which is an incredibly harsh treatment and rare for people to have 6 treatments let alone 7! Chris is now having a break from treatment for a minimum of 3months to allow his body to repair itself and so he can be fighting fit for further treatment and possible trials through the Royal Marsden hospital in London. 

My husband is a fighter....simple as that !! I believe that things happen for a reason and that we meet and come into contact with people for a reason! Chris spent 16 years in the Royal Navy learning how to fight, emotionally and physically! Now it's my turn.....my turn to stick two fingers up to cancer and say I'm ready!!!
