Many of us have been touched by cancer in some way or another.  Me and Charlotte are racing in memory of Helen, my 'lil sis' and Charlotte's much loved Auntie who lost her very brave fight to Cancer July 2007 aged 24.

While racing however other loved ones are remebered who have been lost through cancer in particular my Auntie Val and my Bampi.

We will also be remembering those known to us this year who are presently fighting cancer.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us now you can help more people survive cancer.

I will be 36 weeks pregnant this year while taking part in Race for Life so will admit now that I won't be running any of it!!!  I think walking the 5k will be challenge enough.
