I'm raising money in memory of my mother Joan Thirkettle.

Although she died 17 years ago, not a day goes by when I do not think of her.  Every day I still wish she was here with me to talk to, to laugh with, to hug, to argue with and to share my life with.

You never forget your mum and I know that I was very lucky to have such a special one in my life, however briefly.
