Post Race Update!:

Thank you so much to all of you who were kind enough to sponsor Katie and I for our Race for Life on Sunday.

We were really pleased to complete the course in 28 minutes and despite the heat slowing us down somewhat we were chuffed with our time. Hopefully our red faces on the left will show that we did earn our sponsorship!

Thanks again for your generosity in sponsoring us. We are so happy to have raised a great amount for a fantastic charity, which is so close to our hearts and to so many others.

I first took part in Race for Life four years ago. At the time, my Mum was undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. I ran to celebrate her strength and that of the thousands of others affected by cancer.

       Unfortunately my Mum lost her battle against this vicious disease in 2005, following the bravest of battles.

       This year my big sister Katie and I are running to celebrate her life, the time that we had with her and to hopefully raise lots of money towards research and treatment for sufferers.

          Please give whatever you can, however small, to this fantastic charity.
