All in memory of my beautiful Nanny. Myself (Batgirl) and my super hero sidekicks have decided this year to drop our usual low profile and secretive image to take part in race for life. We have implimented a no flying rule to keep things a little fair, so please sponser us as we quite literally race for life.
It is shocking to think that 1 in 3 people will develop cancer in their lifetime. Just take a minute to think of three of your friends, three of your family, or even three of your work colleagues....and now imagine one of them not being about. I hope you never experience the day when you delete their number from your mobile because there is no one on the other end any more.
But we can help. Suvival rates have doubled in the last 30 years thanks to the amazing work done by Cancer research, but that statistic CAN be bigger and better with OUR help.
