It's that time of year to dig deep for Cancer Research again  - and as last year, I am taking part in memory of my late and dearly loved Nana and my favourite Uncle Jim who were both taken from us far too early through cancer.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you can help more people survive cancer.

Last year I raised £500 exactly (whew!) and it would be great to beat that this year - although I've set a more modest target though of £250 as I know the credit crunch is hitting a lot of people at present.  Please know that every amount (however small) helps
