Story

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Over the years I have known many friends and family who have been effected by this horrible disease.  I'm choosing to run the race in honour of my Dad (who I miss the most in all the world) Grandma and for all those who have no-one to run for them.

Now you all know me, I must be one of THE most unfit people you know.  Lets just say that my progress so far is that I'm exercising 3 times a week (with all the cool gear of course!) and so far the knee is holding up, the asthma is doing ok and the blisters have numbered one! I've been off the ciggies for the last 3 weeks (and haven't killed anyone yet I might add!) I forgot how good fresh air is!  I'm hoping that this will be the start of a new me and so am asking you all to support me in my own "Race for Life"

As a charity, Cancer Research UK rely overwhelmingly on the success of fundraising events such as Race for Life to continue our life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Love and happy thoughts and blessings to you all

Jodie (and the girls!)
