Well, WE DID IT!!!! We had an utterly amazing day doing the Race For Life, the sun came out, Leigh arrived with some lush ladies in a stretch pink hummer kindly donated by allstretchedout.com. We had a lovely stroll around the downs, chattting and laughing, meanwhile still receiving donations as we did it. I cannot thank Leighs lush Ladies enough. If it wasnt for them we would be no where near this total. There were 69 of us in total, just a blur of pink, and also a big thank you to every single one of you who have donated. This after all, is what it was about.

I would also like to say a big thank you to Heather and Shane for doing their ealk of Haddriens Wall in honour of Leighs Lush Ladies, it was great to see you on the day.

As most of you know, i have been battling Breast Cancer for just over 5 years and am currently going through chemotherapy again.

I have decided to create "Leigh`s Lush Ladies" in the hope that we can raise tons and tons for Cancer Research so that it helps other people through this shattering disease.

My main reason for doing this is so the money we raise will hopefully go to finding a cure for it so that my children, family, and friends never have to go through the pain of cancer.

I am also doing this in memory of my best friends Mum who unfortunately lost her fight against cancer.
