You may know that in February 2011 we were given the devastating news that my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His prognosis then was only a few months, heartbreaking for us all, especially my mum. However his steely determination and sheer will to live keeps him still with us, still fighting the big fight. My mum and dad will have been married 49 years in August, they both have their 70th birthday in November. I am hoping that my mum and dad make as many milestones together as possible, my dad can't fight his cancer without all the fundraising that is done for Cancer Research UK.
