Thank you all for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page. I'll update it as we go along.  Thank you to all the donors here, and to to Eileen, Clive, Meg, Mike, Dilip, Christine, NIgel, Corinne, John, Jeanine, Karen, Dick, Caroline   and John who have sent cheques and cash.. 

We all know people who have been affected by cancer. This year I've been diagnosed with breast cancer and am fortunate to have received treatment quickly: surgery followed by chemotherapy and, when I finish that, radiotherapy.   People's good wishes have been very helpful and supportive, and I'm hoping they'll extend to some cash for this fund-raising effort.

I'm not sure how quickly I'll get round the course (I was hardly Speedy Gonzales last time) - but I hope I can complete it.  I do have good friends with me to give me a poke.  I raised £400 last time and hope to better that - it's down to you!

Many thanks for your support.  I hope that all our efforts will make a difference to people's coping with, and survival of, this rotten disease.
