Story
Dear friends and family
This year I have decided to sign up for Race for Life, the first ever event I have entered, as this cause is very close to my heart.
Cancer is an illness which has devastated so many families that the more we donate to help Research into finding a cure, the quicker we can stop it.
This event also happens to be a personal challenge to myself, age comes into it, personal well-being and, of course, getting there and completing the course! With your support I'm confident I'll make it.
My particular race - there are quite a few going on all over London throughout the next couple of months - will be held at Trent Park, Cockfosters, North London on June 21st, where I shall run and walk the 5 kilometre course.
