Hi Everyone

I have decided to run the Race for Life this year on the 24th July.

Although this will be my third 10K run it's my first race for life, My aim is to run in under an hour which in July could be tricky especially as I have been used to running in the cooler temperatures of Aberdeen.

Just to update I ran the Baker Hughes 10K  in Aberdeen on the 22nd May  in 59.09 so just under an hour. I am now slightly scared by how warm it will be in July. I really need to crack on and get this time down a bit to have any hope of achieving under an hour in the summer sun.

I am also being spurred on to do a great job as a close family friend, Anne is awaiting surgery for Bowel and Kidney Cancer. She is such an inspiration to all that know her and will go out of her way to help anyone in need. It's now time to give something back and I feel this is my chance to do something for her.
