Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
As you will probably know, I am currently being treated for breast cancer after having a radical mastectomy earlier this year. My Mum died of this disease, and if it wasn't for her warning to make sure I went straight to the doctors if I ever found a lump, it might not have been caught so soon. Luckily, I got my diagnosis early enough to have a good chance of a full recovery - so Thanks Mum.
I am doing this race for other people who aren't as lucky as me and in memory of my Mother.
As I will be 7 months pregnant when I do the race, I will only be walking - I won't win any prizes for speed but a least I will be doing my bit to help fight one of the biggest causes of premature death of women in the UK.
