Dear friends,

It’s that time of the year when I reach out to my closest contacts to support me for a good cause.

In 2010 I began my fundraising activities for cancer research UK and to date I am proud to say I have raised £7595.00 and ran 5K in both 2010 and 2011. This year I shall go to London again to run the 5K run and hopefully more friends will join me and contribute to this cause by donating and also by attending the race with me. My goal this year is to reach £10 K …. meaning the amount I wish to raise from now till July is just £2405.00 . I am confident that with the help and support of all of you I will manage.

My initial motivation to start this fundraising and attending this race for life was the loss of my dear father JOHN GATT to cancer, after which I became more aware of how many families have also been touched by this horrible sickness. also in december 2011 my grandfather - Frank Ferrante RIP

The run to me, is both a memorial and a celebration - I take part each year for our loved ones who passed away, sufferers, survivors, mourners and those who support the fight for cancer in various ways.

Without research and funds to carry out research – we wouldn’t be able to get the up to date support and help from doctors internationally.

I simply ask you – PLEASE help me help others .
