This year I am doing the Race for Life in memory of my Mum who passed away in November 2010, 9 days after the birth of my second son...her 2nd Grandchild. She was such a brave lady.  It was her determination that allowed her to hold her 2nd Grandchild  just 1 day before she passed. The fantastic support she recieved from the Oncology team at Dereford Hospital and St Luke's Hospice, both in Plymouth, also helped her determined battle against Cancer. They do a fantastic job but must be so saddened and frustrated when they have to break the news that there is nothing else they can do for a patient. I just feel that I need to give something back because, although Mum is no longer with us, I know everything possible was done to try to cure her. Please give as much as you can to such a worthy charity. Thank you. Mel x
