Laura and I are taking part in the Race for Life in memory  of  John Hobson, my husband and Laura's dad.  John died on 8 April 2005, only a few weeks after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which had already spread to his liver.  John was a lovely person, who tried to keep himself as fit as possible and who "loved life".  Both Laura and I want to raise as much money as possible to help the fight against cancer and to enable more people to survive this cruel disease.
