The Rosee Cheeks run again!

SO PROUD OF TEAM ROSEE CHEEKS! WE ALL RAN ALL THE WAY.  Times varied from 24 mins to 35 mins.  We are all elated about this huge effort.   The generosity from our sponsors has been humbling and we are amazed at our total.....and it has been steadily rising in the days after our race.  

The location, weather, support crew, picnic and of course the fizz were all incredible. 

Team Rosee Cheeks was started in 2012 as a result of a dear friend  dying from Lung Cancer in 2011 days after giving birth to her daughter.  Sarah Cudworth was fit as a fiddle and always had been a non-smoker. Tragically, she survived less than 2 months from her shock diagnoses.  She was no different to any of our friends - enjoying her life and looking forward to being a mother.  She is missed beyond words.  

Amy - "I am passionate about the work that Cancer Research does.  Last year, I was astonished to discover that Cancer Research receives no government funding and relies purely on donations for their vital work.  Unfortunately, most of us will be affected by cancer at some stage in our lives, to varying degrees.  Thanks to the wonderful work at Cancer Research many more people now survive Cancer.  Sadly since my run last year I have known several other people who have been diagnosed with Cancer.  Cancer can strike anyone at anytime. Please help Cancer Research find a cure for all Cancers."
