Hello all!

Just to let you know I have done my run, along with my friends Laura, Jules, Sarah and Sally who all ran it with me too. We managed to do it in about 35 minutes which I was very impressed with!

The atmosphere was amazing and I think it was that plus my darling Mum watching over me that got me around!

I had such great support on the day - my Dad and two brothers were cheering us all on as were Laura's parents, May and John and her sister Jessica, as well as Sarah's Mum and Sally's parents. So thank you to you all for being there!

I am hoping to do the 10k run in September and next year's Race for Life in another park!

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be taking part in Race for Life this year for my dear Mum, Jenny.

Mum had advanced stage melanoma, which is actually skin cancer, and we lost her on Sunday 22nd February to this heart breaking disease.

For those of you who knew my darling Mum, will know that she was a beautiful, loving, amazing woman and that this was just so tragic. I miss her terribly already as does my lovely Dad and my two brilliant brothers, so please help me raise money for Cancer Research, so that a cure can be found for melanoma to prevent other families going through what we are at this devastating time.

It's going to be an incredibly hard day for me when this comes around in May so all the support I can get I will really appreciate.
