I am running because in 2006 my Mother Sue (aged just 51) was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, luckily after surgery, Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and five years of medication she is still here with us today and was considered to be in remission, however, 3 weeks ago my Mum was once again diagnosed  with cancer, we have been told she can expect further treatment in the hope that she will once again overcome this disease.

You may not know my me or my Mum, but Cancer affects 1 in 3 people, I'm sure we all know someone who has battled cancer, this aggressive disease has devastating affects on those affected and their families.
