We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Our company, The Co-operative Group will generously donate £400 for us in addition to what we have raised!

Cancer...some basic facts:

One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lives.

There are over 200 types of cancer, each with different causes, symptoms and treatments.

In the UK, someone is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes...every four minutes a cancer sufferer dies.

CANCER RESEARCH UK has a vision: Together we will beat cancer...but they will not be able to work towards this enormous acheivement without donations.

We are doing the race to help raise money towards further research into this terrible illness...we have all been affected by cancer, we want to make help make a difference!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us, even if it is just the minimum of £2...it all helps
