Story
Thank you for visiting my Race for Life fundraising page.
This is a picture of my Mum, Heather, with my daughter, Charlotte, who loved her Granny very much. It was taken at my brothers wedding in October 2004, sadly she died of Bowel Cancer just two months later at age 52.
My Brother, Steve, and his wife, Shar, have now had their first child, Christopher, and my Mum will never get to see him. Hopefully, the money we raise will give Cancer sufferers of the future a chance to live their lives to the full, a chance my Mum wasn't given.
Charlotte is joining me on the race this year - she is 8 so I think it will be slow going!
Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you could help more people survive cancer.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me - Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
