Story
In 2009, I was caught in a huge IED blast whilst serving with 3rd Btn The Rifles Regiment in Afghanistan. The blast destroyed the vehicle I was in and I sustained a lot of damage to my leg. I now walk with a limp and am in pain a lot of the time. I am however lucky as I know many who are much worse off than me.
The Veterans Charity is a brilliant organisation that has made a huge difference to my life in a very short space of time. I want to give something back...........
In May 2013, I will be taking part in their very tough annual endurance challenge - THE FORCES MARCH. Due to the problems I have with my leg, I am unable to walk or run the event so I will be taking part using the charity's handcycle!
This will be one of the hardest things I have ever had to do but I am determined to help make a difference to other Veterans. Please sponsor me and help me make that difference! THANK YOU!
