3 Peak Challenge · 6 March 2009

We raise money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

James Morgan Skeens tragically died at the age of 29 this year after a courageous battle against Cancer. He leaves behind a beautiful baby boy, (Oliver Morgan Skeens) and a loving and devoted wife, Jeanette. He has enriched the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The RFU London South Team had the pleasure of working along side James since March 2005, and intends to celebrate his life by attempting to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge. This involves climbing the 3 biggest mountains in the UK in only 24 hours.

·  Snowdon ( - 1085m)

·  Scafell Pike ( - 978m)

·  Ben Nevis ( - 1344m)

We intend to complete this challenge on the 20th May 2009, in order to raise funds for the Palliative Care Unit at The Royal Marsden Hospital. All funds raised will go directly to the charity. Below are the technical details about donating.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now! (Can you please state which member of the London South Team you are sponsoring)
