Parkinsons Walk · 10 September 2022

We raise funds to support Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust’s family of hospitals, including: Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital | Manchester Royal Infirmary | Wythenshawe Hospital | Manchester Royal Eye Hospital | Saint Mary’s Hospital | North Manchester General Hospital

Story

On 8th October we will be walking 25km across 4 hospital sites for WTWA Parkinsons fund. This money will go towards the treatment and diagnosis of patients with Parkinsons. By providing additional funds it will enable the team to purchase more PKG watches to measure and report on symptoms and help decide the best course of treatment.

The walk will start at Trafford General Hospital and we will stop at each hospital in the WTWA group ending the walk at Withington Day Hospital.

As a charity our mission is simple: to support the excellence in treatment, research and care we provide to our patients each and every day. We want to make a real difference to the people we treat – young and old – by making sure that they continue to receive the very best treatment in the very best facilities.
