In Feb 2017 our world was turned upside down when Jeff was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Unfortunately for Dad, by the time he was diagnosed it had already spread to his bones and we knew there was no cure.

After the initial shock, and with the help of his family and friends, Jeff dusted himself down and faced the disease head on. He remained positive throughout and had his fighting spirit with him until the end. 

Everyone that met him commented on how inspirational he was when fighting the disease and how he continued to live and enjoy his life for as long as he was able. We could not be prouder of him, he is our hero.

In the year's after his diagnosis he completed many fundraisers for the numerous charities and organisations that helped him throughout his journey. We therefore felt it was only fitting to ask for donations in lieu of flowers to not only remember the great man that was Jeff Thomas, but also to support research and increase funding in treating the disease right here in Wales. For a very proud Welshman and Valley Commando this feels the right thing to do.
