Bupa London 10,000 2014 · 25 May 2014 ·

The ME Association campaigns hard to get ME recognised as a severe neurological illness. Our helpline provides essential information and support to adults and children who have ME/CFS, and to their families and carers. We also fund biomedical research into the physical nature and causes of ME/CFS.

Story

Hello I'm Rhiannon, I'm 19 and I am raising money for a charity very close to my heart.

I was diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis or better known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in 2011. Ever since I started suffering I wanted to raise money to help find a cure.

Since overcoming the illness i ran the London Bupa 10,000 in 2014 and raised almost £300! I went from being bed bound to running 10k! wooohooo!

Following on with another great year health wise I am really pushing the boat out!

In 2015 I am running;

London Bupa 10,000 for the second year in a row

 Bournemouth Bay Run 10k

Tough Mudder London South 16k!

I completely smashed my target last year and I'm really hoping to do the same this year. There is  lots of hard work to be done but I am so excited and to be running for such a wonderful charity once again!

Any donations will be really appreciated and it would be great if you followed my story.

I will be posting pictures and updates on how my training running up to the events!

Thankyou! :-)
