I'm taking on the London Marathon 2023 with #TeamPCR!

London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·
I'm taking on the TCS London Marathon, one of the most iconic races in the world, to support Prostate Cancer Research. I'm doing this inspired by my amazing Dad and hero, Jeff Thomas. He was a total inspiration to me and the treatments dad had, including some ground breaking trials, funded by Prostate Cancer Research, meant I got to have him in my life for a little more time.
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed male cancer in the UK, yet current treatments are limited and can be harmful particularly for the late stages. Dad was brave in trialling these treatments and they did take a toll on his body.
Prostate Cancer Research funds research into more effective treatments for prostate cancer with the aim creating a future where people are free from the impact of the disease.
Your fundraising will support innovative scientists with bold ideas working collaboratively to achieve results and who put patient voice at the heart of their decisions making a real difference to the lives of people affected.
Any donation will help me get one step closer to my target and will help to support Prostate Cancer Research in achieving their mission. I really want Dad's legacy to be that more men are saved from this vile disease and that other daughters and sons don't lose their dad the way we did.
Thank you!
