- Word of Mouth Maintenance has kindly agreed to sponsor a Scarecrow Walk in Rhiwbina.
- Rhiwbina residents are encouraged to participate by placing a homemade scarecrow in their front garden and registering this via
the Rhiwbina Festival Team Facebook page. - When all scarecrows are in position a list and map will be published for all residents to walk round the village and decide on their favourite scarecrow.
- Each person can vote once either using a box at WOMM headquarters at 8 Heol Llanishen Fach or via the Rhiwbina Festival Facebook page.
- The creators of the three most popular scarecrows will each receive a £50 voucher, donated by Word of Mouth Maintenance
to spend with any of the Rhiwbina businesses. - There is no charge for residents to enter a scarecrow in the walk or for residents to vote for their favourite scarecrow. The prize vouchers have been very kindly donated by Word of Mouth Maintenance.
- Many charities are finding that their fundraising has been very difficult during the recent lockdown and so we are inviting residents to consider making a small donation to Tenovus if they have enjoyed the Scarecrow Walk.
