When Rhod was only a teenager he was diagnosed with a heart condition. For many young people this would have been overwhelming and forced them to lead a quiet and slow life. Not Rhod. He took a deep breath and a big smile and set out to enjoy every part of life. 

He led an active life being a passionate cricketer, having many part time job growing up and loving a busy social life and a full calendar. He went on to complete his World Challenge Expedition in India, train and qualify as a paramedic and save countless lives through his expert and dedicated care. As he grew into a young man he effortlessly juggled his challenging career with the friends he adored and always made time for his family. 

On 12 April he lost his battle to cancer and our lives will forever be changed. He was such a generous person in life that he would have loved the chance to give back to the charities.
