Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit!

I reckon, at 50, I've not got a lot of years as a runner in me, and having developed an absolute passion for running, losing over 4 stone into the bargain, I think I should go for it.

Last November, we became the furever family for our beautiful boy Jack, who was taken in by Irish Retriever Rescue after being dumped at a pound in Cork. Our poor boy had no idea what was happening to him, and his wee worried face broke our hearts.

Fast forward two months, with lots of patience, understanding, training, exercise but most of all LOVE and Jack is the happiest dog on the planet 😀 He's brought such joy to our lives, and that's all thanks to the love and dedication of the fabulous ladies at lrish Retriever Rescue.  They work tirelessly to provide a safe haven for Golden Retrievers throughout Ireland,  the UK and into Europe,  and make sure that each dog in their care is rehomed with the family most suited to them. They did an amazing job for us.... we're definitely Jack's hoomans!

So, if you could spare a pound or two to help these amazing ladies to continue bringing love and security to lost, abandoned and abused dogs, I will be forever grateful .  Not to mention that every pound pledged will cement my resolve to get over that finish line!

Thank you so much xxx
