Rhydian Poole was a proper character who I was lucky enough to get to know through rugby. I coached a side who played against Blackwood RFC through the age grade system and Rhydian was their captain. He was also in school with my eldest son so I watched them play rugby together and followed them to a few away games and tournaments with the school over the years. 

Rhydian tragically  took his own life in November 2020 and we need to raise awareness as suicide is the single biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK.
