Guinness world record attempt - Longest roller hockey match · 1 November 2013

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.

Story

On the 1st November 2013 i will be taking part in a Guinness Book of World Records attempt for the longest ever game of inline roller hockey. The current record is set at 26 hours, we are aiming to break the 30 hour mark.

I have played hockey for 15 years, all over the country and recently contributed in setting up our own hockey league along with a few team members’ as it’s a sport that I love. We’re doing the world’s longest game in order to spread the word to others to keep the sport going and growing and also to raise money for the worthy charity “Birmingham Children’s Hospital”

This isn’t going to be a walk in the park and will no doubt cause a great deal of pain. This mixed with the sleep deprivation will make for an interesting 30 hours.

I hope you are all able to support me in this event by donating as little or as much as you are able to.

Thanks Rhys
