Founded in 1979 as a hospice and looking after 6 patients in that first year, St Davids Hospice Care now cares for well over 3,200 patients and their families each year We serve the communities in South East Wales (that is: Newport, Caerphilly, Torfaen, Monmouthshire, as well as Mid and South Powys a population of around 600,000. One of our goals is to offer patients, carers and their families the tools to be able to cope with their diagnosis and all that it involves.
