Story
This is a picture of my sister and her first born Edward. 3 days later we christened Edward and had to say our goodbyes for the very last
time.
Showing immense courage my sister Claire and her husband Matt, wanted to take a positive from Edwards short life and leave a lasting positive legacy for him.
Wanting to do all I could to help I made the decision days after Edward passed to compete in The Roc to raise as much money as possible for the charity Claire and Matt chose.
After the swim I cycle 50k and have to get 2k from the summit in under 4 hours to make the cut so it will not be easy. From there I carry on to the summit, back down, 50k cycle back with a 1k run on the beach to the finish
I’d not ran in 8 months after advice from my surgeon on an ongoing back issue, so with the length of time off and having to work around my injury training has been a challenge in itself. However I wanted to take on the hardest event I could to earn as many donations as possible.
Even the smallest foot can leave a big footprint on the world, so help us to help Edward leave a big positive one.
