So, I’m really pleased to announce that I’m running in next years London Marathon! I will be running on behalf of Weldmar Hospice who provided my wonderful mum with such amazing care and support throughout her battle with cancer. Their support, not only for mum but for all of my family during such a difficult time was nothing short of overwhelming. 

Weldmar Hospicecare is an independent charity based in Dorset who provide specialist care for adults with a life limiting illness. As an independent charity, only 21% of running costs are funded by the NHS. The remaining £18,000 A DAY is raised through the support of the local community, such as fundraising projects, charity shops and other social events.

I appreciate that times are tough at the moment with Christmas on the horizon and the cost of living crisis. However, any donations, no matter how big or small would be hugely appreciated in helping support the outstanding team at Weldmar Hospice.
