Story

In the month of April I am going to do ten 5km runs for Bowel Cancer UK. I came up with the idea of doing ten 5ks because ten years ago my Uncle Peter died from bowel cancer. He was just 32 years old. I did not meet him because he died a couple of months before I was born.

I am planning to do some at parkruns and some in other places. I am going to take Dad with me! We often do parkruns together but ten runs in a month will be much more than we usually do.

I want people to understand that bowel cancer affects people of any age, but I would also be grateful if you donated some money that Bowel Cancer UK can use to fund research into treatments and helping people with bowel cancer. You can find out more at www.bowelcanceruk.org.uk.

Thank you!
