The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

This is my wonderful 8 year old son, Nathaniel. He was diagnosed with autism 4 years ago. This year, I have decided to follow in the crazy/brave footsteps of my wife; Pam, and entered the London 2017 Marathon running for the National Autistic Society (NAS).

My goal (other than finishing and having some fun along the way) is to raise money in order to provide awareness about autism and how it impacts those individuals and families affected by it. I want people with autism, like Nathaniel, to have the best opportunities in their lives and to be appreciated for their uniqueness and different ways of thinking. The NAS do a fantastic job raising a wider understanding of this condition as well as providing families and friends the support they need in dealing with the complexities in life that come with it.

I would really appreciate any support you can give me. I will aim to post regular updates on my journey so stay tuned!
