PAPYRUS is the National Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide, and I am proud to play my part within the charity as a Suicide Prevention Adviser on the HOPELINEUK helpline.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, and in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives. This is a staggering amount of lives lost, and we need to fight the prevelant stigma surrounding suicide to reduce these numbers.

PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK.
