This year, I'll be fundraising for Prevent Breast Cancer. The only charity in the UK dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. Unlike many cancer charities, they focus on preventing, rather than curing. Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, they believe we can stop the problem before it starts. Every year, in the UK, over 55,000 individuals are diagnosed 150 people a day. And every year, we lose 11,500 to this disease. That is 11,500 too many. In fact, it is 55,000 too many. With your support we can help fight this disease together.

I will be part of the Accenture Y3P Team who are delighted to be fundraising for Prevent Breast Cancer, a fantastic charity focussed on predicting and preventing the disease. We are a team of 24 aiming to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 12 hours, thats 24 miles in a circular hike around the Yorkshire Dales three highest peaks. Covid has postponed this event twice, so we are raring to go, each member will be aiming to raise a minimum of £100 each to maximise the sponsorship matching by our company Accenture, who also support us by allowing time each year to raise money for charitable causes.
